[REL] Forbudt for børn AKA Forbidden for Children (1997)

Something strange going on here that maybe our Danish friends can explain. Have alook at the two IMDB pages for Ogginoggen and this film, you will see is same cast etc, but Ogginoggen is only 40minutes, whereas this is the full 90 ?

Anyway - think this still counts as a released posting !!

Ogginoggen

Forbudt for børn is the title of the DVD containing three short films shot over the course of about two years. They are, in order: Buldermanden (1996), Lykkefanten (1997), and Ogginoggen (1997)

They feature young actresses Amalie Dollerup and Stephania Potalivo, both 10-12 (although Amelie does not appear in Buldermanden). In addition to the films there's also a nice half hour "Making of" Documentary. This disc seems to be out of print and impossible to order now. So for anyone who's been looking for it and couldn't find it, here you go!

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please move the file to your shared folder and seed for a while. Every source helps.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FLM!

This is my latest HD project:

All 3 films/episodes from the original DVD enhanced and upscaled to Full HD.

Again, I used Topaz Video Enhance AI for it. The picture quality of the DVD is not very good, but the result still looks pretty cool.

I hope, you enjoy it ;)

If you are like me and a fan of "Lykkefanten" but do not speak Danish, you have probably been wondering for years what Skrubsak's untranslated dialog actually is in the toothbrushing scene. To wit:

193
00:24:39,849 --> 00:24:41,730
Can you show me?
194
00:24:41,754 --> 00:24:46,714
Yes, but I just want to... (Pepi said:
Can't understand what the little dude says)

195
00:24:46,738 --> 00:24:48,552
That's not it.

This translation difficulty was mentioned some years back in the [REL] Lykkefanten thread. After watching it today for the umpteenth time, I considered asking if there were any FLM Danes who could understand the little boy's mushmouth, but then thought to check other subtitle sources online.

Translated from Danish to Portuguese to English, we get:

194
00:24:41,754 --> 00:24:46,714
Yes, but I just wanted that
father and mother would not fight ...

There. Now everything has fallen into place, and this tiny bit of dialog now translated brings whole new depths of understanding to the story. Of course if any FLM Danes find this translation inadequate, please chime in and enlighten us. I want my comprehension to be true and correct, not based on some falsehood.

If you need this correction to make your enjoyment complete but find copying and pasting to be a chore, then here is a revised subtitle file with the new translation in place:

I made upscales of these 3 short films before but with a very early version of Topaz. They didn't look very good. So I searched for my old DVD and did the whole thing again. I'm much more pleased now. The picture looks more natural. If you still have some disk space, get them. ;)
