This DVD contains both La traversée du phare (1999) and its sequel Les inséparables (2001), starring the lovely Katty Loisel at age 11 and 13 respectively. I didn't know whether to post it in this thread or the one for Les inséparables so I decided to do the full post here and put a link to it there.
The first film is a really wonderful love story between a pair of kids, Eric and Marie. They meet, develop a strong bond, get separated by adults, then find their way back to each other. The second film sees Eric adopted by Marie's understanding stepparents from the first film (who even allow them to sleep in the same bed together!). Unfortunately I could find subtitles only for La Traversée du phare. None seem to exist for Les inséparables, even in the native French. So I added the subs to my disc for the first film. You can certainly watch the second without them and get the gist of it, but there are undoubtedly a lot of particulars we miss. If anyone has subtitles, or more likely speaks French and is willing to create them, they'd be welcome!

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please unrar to your shared folder and seed this for a while. Every source helps. You can still burn an .iso file to disc while it's being shared. It won't interfere with the recording process.

Well, you'll ask yourself: Why does this guy spend 2 days with a film, we already have in HD?
Finally I bought a new laptop with an Intel i7-11800H CPU and a NVidea RTX 3060 graphic card. It's like a dream and just soooo amazing!
Topaz is running like a racing horse (compared to my old laptop), I can do an upscale fom SD to HD in 3 - 4 hours now!!!

I watched my file yesterday and I wasn't pleased at all. 
I did it again using my finished 720p file with some additional fine tuning. Now it really looks like HD to my opinion.
