I found this on LiveLeak (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=902_1482464608) and it purports to be the first-ever Christmas movie.

The first Christmas movie, and containing the 1st depiction of Santa Claus on film: Santa Clause by George Albert Smith is believed to also be cinema's earliest known example of parallel action. It is one of the most visually and conceptually sophisticated films made up to this point in history.
