Good afternoon everyone !
Took me 2 hours, but I finally made English subs for the movie.
Sorry if you don't like it, these are my first subs, I only used my mind and Notepad&VLC... Any constructive criticism is welcome !

Before anyone comments upon the last talking scene, with the guys, I did not transcript everything for 2 reasons. First, it is hardly hearable or understandable. I think it was made as a background environment. Second, the language is Swiss French, and street language, so some phrases are just hard to get when you're French... I did my best.
Enjoy !

Thanks, thanks, thanks. I'll be sure to check them out over the weekend.
I know how difficult the process is. I recommend two passes - first pass you just mark the time (i.e. create an empty subtitle line). In the second pass you can type the translated text.
It gets really difficult when there are phrases that don't translate well into English.
EDIT: just checked them out. Excellent work.

Thanks for your very nice comments. To be honest, I graduated in English studies at the University, and my speciality was translation... but it was ages ago :p

Here is an upgrade of this wonderful short. Not 1080p unfortunately, but the best version I've seen so far. 11-year-old Sharon Oberson is Sissi, and Anissa Cadelli her older sister Victoria (age unknown, one of those girls who could be 14 or 19).
This file contains English subtitles, non-hardcoded.

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please unrar to your shared folder and seed this for a while. Every source helps.

My guess is they're younger, possibly 12 and 17..deadman wrote:(age unknown, one of those girls who could be 14 or 19).
THANKS a lot for this great upgrade!
Don't go quietly into the night.

The younger girl is 11. I can't find any info on the older one. I was just saying she's the kind of girl that could be a wide range of ages, anywhere between 14 and 19. My guess would be 16 or 17 - but you never know.popdrome wrote:My guess is they're younger, possibly 12 and 17..deadman wrote:(age unknown, one of those girls who could be 14 or 19).
