[REQ] Puppet & Kid Moments [All countries]

There are potentially hundreds of videos showing children interacting with Puppets / Muppets, and some of them are quite charming. I have one such classic in this post. I confess I am being completely self-indulgent, but the children are FLM even if the puppets are not. ;) I would not bother at all except for the fact that there are shorts streaming on YouTube. If anyone else has any favorites, feel free to share in this thread rather than making any new threads. One thread is plenty. Streaming videos are fine and probably preferable, you don't need to eMule them if you don't want! I did make an eMule link anyway JUST TO SHOW I AM SERIOUS about this thread! :D I will leave the topic in REQuests despite the eMule link, however, because I do not think these are videos that people will collect and save. I figure that if Music Videos have a place here then these do too. Those who are instantly uninterested should run screaming from this topic. Personally I believe this thread will be quickly forgotten but I just could not resist sharing this one video, and I had to justify it somehow.

If the Admins are exasperated with me and think this topic a bad idea, we can always close it. Sometimes I have odd ideas.

This post's video is
"Sesame Street: Kermit and Joey Say the Alphabet"
(Joey was 5 years old at airdate.)
Joey Calvan (b. October 31, 1967) appeared on Sesame Street as one of the kids in a series of sketches, primarily with Kermit the Frog.

This show is totally new to me! I may have found the video although it says "there's somebody at the door" was an in-joke so maybe there are multiple videos?

I had to do a little research to understand Rod Hull's reference to "Grotbags". ;)

There are many clips and even FULL EPISODES on YouTube! I have to get through the new FLM posts before I can sit and watch some...

I'm sorry I'm confusing the muppets with sesame streets, maybe it's the Jim Henson multiverse.

PS:
Spoiler:

I really don't like puppets.

Yes! Muppets were on Sesame Street (1969-present) and also The Muppet Show (1976-1981) and various Muppet movies. The Fraggles on Fraggle Rock (1983-1987) were also Muppets. But I think that Sesame Street was the only Jim Henson "Muppet" series that had children in it. That makes it the only one that matters for FLM, right? But there are other non-Henson TV shows with puppets and children for sure. Night, your idea is about showing how the kids interact with the puppets, right? How they treat them as if they were real?

Here's a short Sesame Street video:
Children shriek in fear of the Snuffleupagus

I want to know what happened next to the children. Did they get eaten?

I guess 1970s Sesame Street is before my time, but you earned yourself a convert with Joey Calvan who is adorable. Night, this collection of Joey Calvan bits is for you. It includes your video and others. She appears with Muppets, adults, and other children and she is a total scene-stealer.

15 minutes of Joey Calvan being friggin' adorable

Thank you all! I am glad I am not the only one who likes this sort of thing, it would be a shame if I was some kind of weirdo. ;) I was pleased to see shorts that are not just English-language Sesame Street, which is simply what *I* am familiar with. I knew there were plenty of other children's shows from around the world even if I had not discovered them yet, and I enjoyed finding that I can understand what is going on even if something is outside my knowledge of languages. (English in my case.)

 I can not blame you at all, Sully. Even I find some of them annoying. It is the CHILDREN in the videos that appeal to me.

Uhhh... cute kids? I do not think I thought through it beyond just that. Kids are still kids. Whether adults are better people when performing puppetry I suppose depends on the person, but that part is not my concern. Thank you for more Joey Calvan! Watching some of the old Sesame Street videos made me realize that I actually REMEMBER some of those kids, even if I did not know or remember their names like I did for the adults.

John-John is one of the kids I remember. This video also shows him as an adult at the end.
