You can change the vertical height - cropping out the black bars. so it would be 1280x700 instead of 1280x720.
I've generally found "Artemis Medium" to be the best. I wish there was a sharpen setting to vary this a bit. I encode at a quality of about 4. Then send the file to Handbrake for final encoding (usually single pass, a q of around 19, at level 4.1). I find if you try and do the final encode in Topaz you get a huge file or poor quality. Note "level 4.1" is the maximum that will play on many media players. eg. the portable Western Digital HD media player.

Have you try using Dione Interlaced Dehalo first and then using Artemis Medium Quality / Gaia High Quality Mode.
I saw dvd have been set as Interlaced video
I don't remember exactly, which model I was using. I think it was Dehalo.

I did it from a DVD-Rip which wasn't interlaced anymore.
It does say "Artemis Medium" in the screenshot :)

Well.. this screenshot wasn't the final thing. In the meantime a newer version of Topaz had been releaed.. I really can't remember, what model I used with it. But you're right. In most cases Artemis Medium does the best job.

Watched this a few days ago - brilliant work Ghost! This is so superior to previous copies. Must have been a lot of work with adding in the extras. I knew there was an uncut Japanese DVD (in fact I got a download of it ages ago) but think it has their infamous smoothing/blurring technique.

Odd request maybe but does anyone have this version?
https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Pierre-Cl%C ... B07T3B6DRN

It's 1hr 8m so censored but I'm wondering which scenes they edited out. I've seen the youtube TV version and it's only 59 minutes so not the same one.

I tried the Prime Video version some months ago, just because of curiosity. It's one of the most censored version I've ever seen.
