A military family of six escalates beyond "dysfunction" once the daughter (Akkemay), roughly sixteen, learns that mom has had an affair with her boyfriend, the girl employing her eldest brother (Frank Schaafsma), a year or so younger, to off mommy. When the attempt fails, an all out war begins between the parents and kids.

What happens when a family of kids declares war (literally) on their parents? Hey, it's all fun and games till the house blows up. This movie generated some controversy because the older daughter was played by Akkemay Elderenbos, who looks about 16 (largely due to the excessive amount of makeup her character wears) but was in fact only 14 at the time of filming and she does some very steamy scenes. Of course in the Netherlands this amounted to the kind of controversy that boosts ticket sales. Not the full blown meltdown you'd get in the United States.
