Is this a second part of the film, or it is merely another link for the same? Anyway, no sources.Amadeus wrote:I'm in. Don't have a preview, but this:

Just so there is no confusion, this is the movie version of the series mentioned in the other thread:
https://www.first-loves.com/forums/v ... php?t=2000
So Amadeus and abel, the '2' probably indicates that it is episode 2 of the series. As per the thread I linked to, ep. 1 and 7 are the good ones. I have ep 1 and I can vouch that it falls into the category of 'how the hell did he get away with that?'.
[edit] unless there is a completely different series with that title, and I have just added to the general confusion.

Infiniter's link is apparently a couple series together: http://www.rarefilmfinder.com/showfilm.php?id=266

I downloaded this when it was first posted and can verify it is a nice upgrade. This uploader has done several Astrid Lindgren films including a few of Pippi's. Hopefully he will do the whole collection.

Does anyone want English subtitles for this?
(Includes some useful SDH information.)
I have been having on ongoing conversation with ferdi111 about various Astrid Lindgren TV series and movies, and I mentioned that I was planning to revise the "official" English subtitles for this movie, but just had not gotten around to it. He asked me WHAT subtitles was I talking about!??!?!
My memory plays tricks on me, I guess. I decided that I had better get to work on revising and correcting subtitles that had never been released before I forgot yet again. I just can not bear to leave Lindgren without an available translation. Sorry it took so long!
In the process I compared this movie to the full length TV series. The movie makes use of the following episodes, in this order:
Episode 4
Episode 6, the first 1/3 of it
Episode 1 with the religious playacting left out (baby Moses and the Garden of Eden)
Episode 6, the second 2/3 of it
Episode 2
It also has added narration. I had not realized how radical the re-edit was, but it works extremely well. My favorite parts include the introduction of Madicken's archenemy Mia, who I absolutely adore; and Lisabet wailing "Madicken is dead! Madicken is dead!" That gets me every time.
