Thanks, ptg. This has always been one of those 'fun' films you just kick back and enjoy without needing to think about it much. Your work is appreciated. :thumbsup

Thanks, PTg. :D I had just cleared up some disk space - moved several gigs onto external HDDs - and I thought I'd be good for several months. Apparently not.

ptguardian wrote:Let me start off by saying the source had a lot of grain to it but compared to what we have here before it is an improvement and the audio is great. As for the encoding because the source isn't super sharp or super colorful like Ricky the Rapper I decided to save several hours of lost computer time and went with x264 encoding. Sorry emuler but 2.25gigs is what it came out as.
Preview is looking (and sounding) great. :D Sure, 2.25GB is on the high side but it certainly is a huge improvement on 8.75GB.

I watched this last night and the quality is excellent, plus the English subs from earlier versions match up exactly. win-win.

<Edit> Hmm, not sure if these subs were posted before but they're the ones that matched.

And now for a special treat brought to you by ferdi who deserves all the credit. :clap

This is a 3-part extended version of Ronja, probably meant as a television special. Aside from the short recap at the beginning of each episode and the ending credits, there are definitely scenes that aren't in the theatrical releases. ;) The theatrical version runs around 120 minutes while these three episodes run 49:39, 47:27, and 46:52 - total 143:58.

On uloz.to if eMule doesn't work for you.
All hail ferdi111 :icon_bis :icon_specool

I have the blu-ray version which includes the extended cut. Unfortunately English subs posted for the theatrical version don't fit. Are ferdi's links subtitled by any chance? If so, I'll be happy to release some bluray rips. If not, I'll probably release them at some point - if people want them. When I get the time to go through and create subs using the translations from the original set and filling in the new lines myself (it might be a while).

These have internal Swedish subs. A bluray version with or without subs certainly won't be turned down. ;)

I only saw it there (at uloz) so no need to give any credit to me :)
And English subs for it seems to be in OS (needs to synchronize for files presented here)

Could you make some screens of the "new" scenes, missing in the previous releases? Since we already have 1080p blu-ray rip, it would be good to know whether this upgrade-not upgrade deserves downloading. Thx., J.
