Reese Witherspoon is amazing in her very first role, at age 14. She and costar Jason London got involved with each other for real on set. So if Court seems to have more genuine magnetism with Dani than her sister Maureen, there's a reason for that. The two actors continued dating for about a year after this movie. Worth viewing for the story alone. And of course, Reese is mega cute.

, which certainly explains the body double during the diving sequence as well as the false connection on Reese when she comes out of the water (she has a bra on when she is supposed to be naked). The film might have gained interest at the end if the story had been different : Spoiler: |
