Olyan mint otthon AKA Just Like at Home (1978)

When a man buys a child's dog without her knowledge, the rightful owner (Zsuzsi Czinkoczi), approximately twelve years old, hounds the fellow until he agrees to give it back. In the process, the two form a friendship which quickly develops into a father/daughter-like relationship.

Then, the girl's parents permit the lass to move in with the man, but this makes his girlfriend a bit jealous. A well done, interesting film which perhaps falls short by never fully explaining why the leading male is so interested in the aforementioned dog and its young owner.

Wow, I don't think I even noticed that while I was hunting for the links. Much appreciated for all of your shares here, ghost. 2005, that's really incredible. And the fact that the community and other emulers have kept it sourced is so cool!

I just now found an emule link for a rip of this film at 1.74gb. It is fairly well sourced and I am downloading it now. I may not have time to compare its quality for a bit, but if anyone wants to join in, here ya go.

Choices, choices, choices ... now I have a superabundance of quality versions for when I next watch this!

reptile's version is the best one so far. I believe that's the original web-dl and the other versions were re-encoded from it, because the picture is obviously sharper. You'll notice it's a bit longer too. But that has to do with the 24 fps framerate. A simple framerate conversion from 25 to 24 fps was all it took to get the English subs aligned for this file from start to finish - so there are no additional scenes in the middle to screw up the sync.

I decided to repost this file with the subtitles muxed in for anyone who prefers using eMule or MEGA. Night already converted the .srt file and posted it separately, I see, so I don't have to do that. Thanks once again to reptile for finding this!
