[REL] Cheonsangui hwawon AKA Heaven's Garden (TV 2011-2012)

A drama that shines an optimistic light on resentment, pain, and reconciliation within a family on a beautiful, but isolated mountainside in Kangwon Province.

Jung Jae In and her husband separated after his business went bankrupt. She has no other option, but to move back to her hometown in the countryside with her two daughters and live with her father.

Stars Kim Sae-ron as the eldest daughter. This 30-episode series was something I discovered years ago on Netflix, not long after seeing [REL] The Man From Nowhere (2010). I was completely hooked by the third episode and it quickly became one of my favorite TV series EVER, making Kim Sae-ron one of my favorite young actresses in the process. Anyone who knows Korean soap opera knows how addictive they can be. Some of them wallow in trashiness and have truly sociopathic villains. No such characters in this one, however. Even the most obnoxious jerks are shown to have good qualities and are given a chance to redeem themselves. This is very definitely a multi-generational FAMILY-appropriate drama, with a large cast making up the people in the village.

It is very easy to download the videos with standard downloading software. Nevertheless, I am putting all the episodes on eMule to make this a RELease. There are subtitles available at subscene.com, but most of them I was unable to get synced to these episodes for some reason. I used instead subtitles with a different translation, taken years ago from I do not know where. These ones ARE now pretty well synced to the episodes.

I also include all 30 subtitles in a .zip file for anyone who is getting the video directly from ondemandkorea. If you aren't allergic to sentimental family dramas, give the first few episodes a try!

Yeah, that is the problem, isn't it? In addition to all the movies I have downloaded, I have several TV series, some of them multi-season. I downloaded them because I COULD download them, and they looked interesting. But I kind of doubt I will actually have time to watch them, unless I break both legs and my internet goes batty again.

(I have started the first few episodes of some of them.)

Look at it this way: 30 hour-long episodes is only two days of viewing, still leaving time for eating and sleeping! Just ONE weekend!
