Just ripped a movie from DVD.

Up until now I was using SUPERDVDRIPPER. It kicked ass... One click and its done.

Sadly SUPERDVDRIPPER wont run anymore, and I heard the keygen also fails when people download it.
Anyway, that’s not the point.
Iv just tried my first rip using other software, in this case... DVD Shrink & DVDx.. The results are crap compared to SUPERDVDRIPPER, but life is too short to keep doing this, so ill live with DVDshrinks & DVDx's blocky work.

My question is. How do I shave off the black boarder that is at the bottom and sides of the resulting AVI file (something SUPERDVDRIPPER also didn’t suffer from)

Iv looked up cropping on google, but all I find is stuff about choosing regions etc... basically more bloody work.

All I need is a tool like what Adobe Photo shop uses, so I can simply shave off the dark stuff around the video that is not needed.
