Why no Rapidshare?

Why no Rapidshare?

I realise this subject has probably been discussed before but I am new and I would appreciate some feedback.

I gather that the preference is to download via eMule and I have been doing that. However, it can take 3-4 days to download a single movie and sometimes even longer than that. I have a Rapidshare premium account and can download a movie from there in around 20 minutes.

Why is there an apparently masochistic desire to stick to eMule when we can have almost instant gratification via Rapidshare or a similar source? Why not both? If someone has a movie on Rapidshare (I have several filed there) why can't we allow members to download from there if they wish? If someone wishes to use eMule then we can post a link for them there as well.

Makes sense to me.
