Original title: Man-sin
A life documentary of a woman who was shunned for being possessed by spirits as a girl, oppressed for following superstitions as an adult, how she grows to be a great shaman who embraces the pain of all people, and how she comes to be honored as a national treasure of Korea with her outstanding artistic talents throughout Korea's tumultuous history.

An octogenarian lady shaman at FLM? Forgive me, I was convinced to watch this because 12-year-old Kim Sae-ron portrays Manshin Kim Keum-hwa as a teen in the docudrama reenactment portions. Several minutes at both the beginning and end and briefly in the middle. Aside from that, I found this a fascinating documentary.

The 720p video I found on eMule. The English subtitles are ripped, OCRd and corrected from the Korean DVD. The two English subtitles at opensubtitles are incomplete (sdh sounds only, no dialog) or for the wrong film! The subtitles for the / On-screen text / I have indicated with slashes / / to distinguish it from the simultaneous dialog. Manshin Kim's dialog usually also has Korean hardsubs, so I am presuming that she often speaks in a strong Northern dialect.

720p in Korean with optional English subtitles:
