A dominating, abusive woman convinces her submissive husband to help her off their three children, roughly two to seven years of age. Complications arise when only the oldest boy is left and his father finds himself with conflicting feelings about killing the child.

I didn't really want to post this title

it is much, much more likely to be the 1997 version 'Kichiku dai enkai (1997)', but no date is given
