Once again, for some reason; I thought THIS movie was already on FLM.
IMDB lists the country of origin as: Belgium / Luxembourg / West Germany. Since Belgium is first on the list, I'll request it here!

I've had this one on VHS for years, but my copy has gone bad!!
I wish they would release it on DVD. (The VHS was pretty much half and half; Dutch and English. This was an English release, so the Dutch was subbed.)
Hopefully someone with the ability to rip it HAS it, or someone will come across an ed2k link...

Synopsis:
Along the way they try to help a man by kidnapping his daughter back from his ex-wife.A mystery drama about two men traveling from Belgium to Istanbul; one a guilt-ridden fugitive from the police, the other a student who befriends the wandering refugee.
Istanbul -- where one man's adventure is another's salvation...
Brad Dourif, in his most poignant role since his Oscar nominated performance in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", stars as Marin Klamski, a man haunted by his past.
Martin, an outcast from society, is determined to reach Istanbul where he believes he will find redemption. Along his journey, he meets Willy, a student working in Belgium during his vacation. Willy, impressed by Martin's intensity and fascinated by his tales of Istanbul decides to join him for the adventure of a lifetime.
But, Willy's curiosity about Martin's mysterious past leads him to a shocking newspaper article and the realization that he must take control.
An intriguing portrayal of two men, playing the game of Truth.
