Plot: Eleven-year-old Liliane Susewind, called Lilli (played by cute fox Malu Leicher), has an extraordinary ability: she can talk to animals! This special gift, however, has so far only brought Lilli into trouble. When a city festival is sinking into complete chaos due to her capabilities, she has to move with her parents Regina and Ferdinand and her dog Bonsai. In the new city, Lilli vows to keep her secret. But then a mean animal thief menaces the urban zoo, where zoo director 'Oberst Essig' ("Colonel Vinegar") works with the good-natured animal keeper Toni, – and Tonis ambitious girlfriend, all tarted up Vanessa, is playing a wicked game. Only Lilli, supported by neighbor boy Jess, can help rescue baby elephant Ronni and the other animals. The adventure can begin!
