Yes, and I even managed to bypass their geo-restriction. They are streaming in Full HD.

I can't remember exactly, but it was about 4000 - 6000. Quality was pretty good.

That’s definitely decent. Amazon can be as high as 15000 for 1080p

Does that mean you're not going to have a go at capturing and releasing it? If you don't I've only got the DVD to have a go at upscaling - unless someone else releases it?

I see, that everybody wants this movie. So I rented it from canalplus (which was a real pain in the ass to crack their geo-restrictions!).

I have to disappoint you. They are streaming this movie only in 720p, even I used the settings "highest quality". But Topaz used its AI-magic and now we have a beautiful Full HD picture.
