Oh! I almost forgot - stumbled upon another short "Liv" aka. "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" by the same director of this short

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is a chamber play taking place around Christmas, where Liv, her brother and mother are to celebrate Christmas together. The father has recently left the family and 14 year-old Liv cannot accept that Christmas is not what is used to be. Liv does her best in order to keep both family and Christmas together, but when her mother invites a young colleague to celebrate Christmas with them a painful struggle for power between Liv and her mother takes place. This eventually affects all involved.

I believe the actress playing Liv was 17/18 at the time, but definitely looks a bit younger

Thanks for this other short, SFN! I appreciate you sharing this here. This movie/short looks pretty good so far. It is also nearly an hour long, so it's like a short movie.

If you're watching it, you should adjust the aspect to 4:3, that's where it seems to look best to me. Also, the way it was filmed, the camera itself is intentionally a little shaky and frequently in motion. It's like me when I have to pee! I notice the image is choppy in places, but I cannot tell if it's just me. But otherwise it does look like fun film, and I am in no way saying otherwise. So thank you again!

9-year-old Frederikke is on her way to her mom's place for the weekend. She is looking forward to spending time with her mom, but unfortunately the weekend doesn't quite turn out as expected. Mom has a new boyfriend, and it seems there is no longer any space for Frederikke - even her room is packed with the boyfriend's stuff! Mom and her boyfriend argue a lot, and Frederikke is left all on her own. Luckily, she can play with the dog Buster, and together they prepare a surprise for her mom.

Small error but both imdb and rff in the op states this film is 2008, not 2007
