[REL] Bo (2010)
Re: [REL] Bo (2010)
According to shortypower it isn’t being shared by anyone anymore. Out of curiously, what video quality was that Release? I have the full DVD-R image (4GB).
Re: [REL] Bo (2010)
Every day I download I have 500GB with free space of 5GB and I must delete files if they lose interest or go into oblivion, I don't have memory the size of a seaport.goku33 wrote: Tue Jun 13, 2023 11:40 pm According to shortypower it isn’t being shared by anyone anymore. Re: [REL] Bo (2010)
I reshared Sully's file.
I choked with laughing on this, because my immediate interpretation was not hard disk computer memory but instead soft head human memory. None of us have the memory of ghost!

Re: [REL] Bo (2010)
I let myself go, here colloquially we call the hard disk 'memory', in the end it is the brain and not the file warehouse.Night457 wrote: Wed Jun 14, 2023 3:33 am I choked with laughing on this, because my immediate interpretation was not hard disk computer memory but instead soft head human memory. Re: [REL] Bo (2010)
It is just the same in American English. (I can't speak for the British.) You could easily have been addressing either use of the word "memory" in your reply, I just thought of your questioned memory of the video quality first. A very limited number of people here have a good memory for specific file details and where they got them ...Sully23 wrote: Wed Jun 14, 2023 5:00 am I let myself go, here colloquially we call the hard disk 'memory'

Memory = Speicher
Disk space = Festplattenspeicher (Disk=Festplatte, Space=Speicher)
RAM = Arbeitsspeicher („working space/memory“)
Confusing as hell haha
Because sometimes it’s a literal translation, other times the literal translation would have a completely different meaning.
„Speicher“ comes from „speichern“ = saving
I guess you could call it „disk savings“ = Festplattenspeicher
