But to be frank, it indeed then isn’t properly labeled anymore - unfortunately sites like rargb have totally messed with the tag WEBRip by renaming AMZN.WEB-DL‘s to AMZN.WEBRip‘s. The old meaning of WEBRips was re-encoded or screencaptured releases.

I think the scene still labels their WEB-DL‘s „WEB“ when they removed black bars through re-encoding. Example:
