Thanks for posting this! anyone know if there was ever a 1080p version of this movie with Fang Qiang Qiang the little rebel? This movie's such a historical masterpiece, haven't seen anything like it showing nursery schools in historical China. Quite incredible how different that world was.

I have not found any, but I do not have access to Usenet or Chinese sources. I have found DVDrips in torrents, emule, blizzardkid, ulozto, YouTube, and other streaming sites.

The BEST source I have found is a 4.81Gb PAL DVD9 with optional English subtitles, recently posted with new links as 11 direct-download RARs at the.nextthing.club. [That site requires free registration and login to see posts.]

This is all about adults seeking to rigidly control the peeing, pooping, and farting of children lest anarchy be let loose upon the world. However, I am jealous of all the little kids getting to wear open-crotch trousers, as that seems so comfy and convenient.
