Me Llaman Lolita was a Colombian telenovela between 1999 and 2000. It was written by Juan Manuel Cáceres and Jorge Elkim Ospina and directed by Luis Alberto Restrepo. This telenovela lasted 198 episodes and internationally it had 99 episodes. Starring Carla Giraldo, Manuela González and Marcelo Cezán. The antagonists were Marcela Gallego and Germán Castelblanco.
The series caused some controversy due to its depiction of the romance between Lolita, aged 12 at the start of the series, and Esteban, who is 18 years her senior, which led to the series being censored in Nicaragua and in Guatemala when it was transmitted in those countries.

It sounds like Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, those stories would be canceled today, in fact it is a TV show about a girl-man relationship, I can't imagine the forbidden scenes, the protagonist is beautiful, sweet, innocent, I thought it was a movie.

Good find reptile! All the episodes and fast reliable direct links! The first mp4 episode isn't de-interlaced (and she only appears for 3 seconds), but the 2nd one is de-interlaced and a better encode.

Even though I posted photos of her, her physique doesn't fit someone who is 20, in fact there is a twist in the story in which she becomes an adult.

Spoiler: The first 10 episodes focus little on her despite the title saying she is the main character, I have seen a conflict between her lover and her father and since he was in love with her mother.

I downloaded a whole bunch of episodes and skimmed through them. This show premiered on January 5th, 1999, and Carla Giraldo didn't turn 13 until August 30th of that year, which means she was barely 12 when filming started. Lolita and Esteban are only one set of characters being followed on the show. So keep in mind it's not all about those two. Being a telenovela (i.e. soap opera) plots tend to be drawn out and major developments are a long time coming.

In the middle of episode 45 there's a five year time jump and the role of Lolita passes to 22 year old Manuela González. Only then does real romantic stuff start happening between her and Esteban. Before that, when Carla was playing the character, he is involved with a series of other women and trying to ignore his feelings for Lolita, who makes that as hard as she possibly can. There are a lot of cute scenes with her that are worth seeing, as she tries her best to seduce Esteban. Don't really understand the level of controversy here though - unless there were scenes I missed which were very much more steamy than what I saw.

I don't know if I could sit through 40 hours of the full show. Especially considering they're only onscreen about 20% of the time. If I can find subtitles somewhere I'll probably collect and string together all the clips of their storyline. That would be worth posting. I will of course also check to see if this is out on DVD or if HDTV rips or web-dls exist.

That said, I would be interested in a streamlined collection of important scenes and episodes centering in on those two. Similar to the X-files fan project that broke down the episodes and scenes to focus on just the main "mythology" storyline.

I'll search around and see if I can find a written breakdown/guide of the first 45 episodes to assist in this endeavor (yeah, I know it'll likely be in Spanish). Even if the project works out, at least this would help anyone who wants to try breezing through the episodes on their own.

It wouldn't be a one day project, for sure, but it also wouldn't be as tedious as you might think. I would use mkvmerge to split the files by time codes and then append the desired segments together. These are .mp4 files, ideal for remuxing as .mkv. As long as I added the subtitles before cutting it up it would be pretty easy. The X-files project was much more challenging. I mean, you couldn't just say okay, I'll include only the scenes with Mulder and Scully. You had to not only watch each episode but be familiar with the various plot threads and history to know which parts to include.

Here it's just a matter of watching for Lolita or Esteban. When the scene changes and there they are, you have your start time. When they jump away to one of the other groups of characters that's your end time. Move on to the next clip. You don't even need to pay attention to the story while you're doing it. Make an appended clip for each episode and stick it in a subfolder. Then you join those together to make a big long movie. Or do it in parts. If there are natural break points maybe you don't want a single nine hour file, but Parts 1, 2, 3, and 4. Who knows? One of those decisions you make on the fly.

I'm going to try looking for even better quality versions first though. I know it's been broadcast in the past on Medellin based Canal RCN in 1080p, so it's possible someone captured it. I haven't decided yet whether this is worth doing. I have to take a closer look at the stuff I zipped by. But that's how I would do it.
