I am sure that we all wish Rich well and I am also sure that he will say hello from time to time if the site remains. This may be an opportunity to take stock and evaluate I am sure that FLM will continue in some form the people who post as opposed to the lurkers will ensure that. As for the people who come here I come into the category of someone remembering my childhood through many of the films released. Some of the films have been great because they are well produced. Toto le héros was an excellent film because it was well written for example (also one of my favourites)

Very sorry to hear this Rich. As a regular contributor my fear is that without your contributions, even with the best will in the world, the remainder of posters may have a problem maintaining this - without the contributions of other new ones that is.

I too hope this works out for you, from my point of view you will be depriving yourself of what can legitimately be considered fine films - especially foreign ones. That really is one of the things about this fine forum - it is unlikely that without this forum, any of us would have known about some absolutely priceless films. So I don't think there is anything wrong or unnatural about this forum.

I will, of course be happy to contribute.

Regarding WinMX, I do not currently use this and would be a little loathe to add another burden of resources to my already creaking machine. For me, the way to do this is continue the forum.

I will join everyone in saying a BIG thank you to Rich for coming up with the idea, and backing his instincts. This is one of the best forums I have ever been part of.

First of all, I didnt want people to think I was being rude by suggesting that we should all contribute a payment to keep FLM running.

Of course there are people that may not for whatever reason be able to afford it, but I am sure at least 10 of us can do it

Secondly, my suggestion of WinMX was kind of a last resort idea.
Id never have been able to find Novemberkatzen without it WinMX for one thing!

Thirdly, my heart says "Rich will change his mind"

I have knowledge about installing (moving) forums, php based and add 'mods' to have some extra features to the forum.
I'm willing to do that kinda work, make backups etc....

even the hosting i can find a solution if i know more about traffic, visitors and bandwith it uses....
