Thank you! I figured it was some colloquial term or dialect. Your correct German actually LOOKS like German even to a non-speaker like me, while the title makes me go "Huh?"

Now I can watch it without subtitles and I will be fine.

Anyone found the subs? I had no luck :(
Maybe using CapCut speech recognition to make the subs?

I made my own SRT using CapCut, not the best, but better than nothing lol.

I looked up CapCut after you mentioned it. I am curious how it stacks up next to whisper. Do you mind posting your files?

Sure! I think it's great, but sometimes the AI will not capture the voice or recognize it and will not generate any subs.
It still better than nothing for those that don't know German.

Here is the file.

An effective trick is to cut a smaller portion of the movie out and use AI translation on that, and then reassemble the subtitles. I think the way the AI feeds information back to itself can cause it become less effective the further into a long audio stream. In some multi-lingual movies I have even had the AI forget what language it was trying to listen too!

A better translation might be "That cán't be true! Don't tell me!" because the "Ja wohl" is added for emphasis, for 'flavor', it's not actually "necessary"

I just found this movie at BK but these are the only subs I can find, The timing is terrible. Would one of you please either post ddl for this version or retime the subs to the BK version?
Thanks. Relic
