Magdalena is the daughter of a Mexican family-American that attends the church of Echo Park to Los Angeles. With it approach of its fifteenth birthday, the sole its thoughts are its fidanzatino, the garment that will put on and the limousine that will accompany it in the day of its Quinceañera, the typical Latin party of tradition-American that marks the passage to the adult age. But little months before the large celebration, Magdalena remains pregnant. While all of the preparations for the large party continue, its religious father discovers it and repudiates it.
