Guess what I found.

The original provider of the Katie Morag Series 1 DVD set has recently provided the DVDs for Series 2! This certainly won't replace the excellent quality 1080p episodes from BBC iplayer, but it will give us a better quality version of episode 13, Katie Morag and the Worst Day Ever. And it will complete the set for DVD collectors out there.

Will post it soon after I have Daddy (1973) distributed enough.

Sorry about the wait. For those who already grabbed the 1080p files that ghost and stefanduke downloaded for us, this may not be of interest. However, it does have a higher quality version of the 13th episode "Katie Morag and the Worst Day Ever", which BBC did not make available. This is available on disc 2, in case you want to save yourself the space.

Looks like that's all of them on DVD. For those that wish to continue with Katie's adventures, we'll have to look towards the original books.
Night has linked to some. Supposedly, there is a new one recently published. I'm actually not sure now.

For now, maybe we can keep an eye on BBC's iplayer to see if the Katie Morag First Series ever becomes available in HD in the future!

I already checked BBC 873 times for that damn final final episode, so I am never going there again unless someone links something specific. But I will be happy to let you guys keep checking it.

I took pillowbaker's two DVDs and made 1:1 MKV copies of the individual episodes for a total of 8.72Gb.
This will certainly exceed the daily (?) MEGA quota for a single IP connection.
All 13 episodes are 576p with optional English DVD subtitles.

The BBC now hates my VPNs entirely so I can do nothing. If I recall correctly, it was only the the LAST episode "The Worst Day Ever" that we only have in 576p with DVD subtitles. I *THINK* that someone managed to download all the other episodes in 1080p with the online text subtitles. Can such a person do the same again one more time for the last worst episode in best quality? Thanks.

If I remember it wrong I am also sure that there is someone here who might have the correct information at hand.

I MIGHT be wrong here as well, but I believe we only started getting the 1080p versions of the show from season 2, with the exception being the final episode. Meaning, we still have to get all of season 1, too. I'll start looking into how to rip it from the BBC iplayer.
