So, it is more likely that the Spanish series is a remake of THAT.

I thought the video you linked was a cell-phone-filmed TikTok because the sides were narrow. (It probably cropped off TV logos.) I thought the original series was over 20 years ago because it was 20 seasons. But those seasons were over the course of 7 years! So whatever I am "right" about is only by accident!
