I tried using jd2 and yt-dlp, but I couldn't get either of them to reach the video file. I'll have to have another look at that technique Night found to get the right link. Thanks for the link, Caleyunior!

Developer Tools did not work for me either, but maybe I forgot how and did it wrong. I tried reinstalling the free Extensions that I could remember, no luck either. One of my attempts told me that the video was Copy Protected in some way. I could not extract the subtitles using different methods. I think something like IDM is the only thing that will work. But hey, please prove me wrong!

I hope that someone somehow manages to download, I also tried with JDownloader 2 and TVDownloader but nothing makes me download either of the 2, of course it's a shame to leave it suspended like this.

Apparently NPOstart uses DRM encryption, and this post from over 2 years ago gives some steps for using yt-dlp + mp4decrypt + ffmpeg to download, decrypt, and reassemble it:

Some of that surely needs to be updated, but I can easily tell that it is far more effort than I would ever make. And the first step of finding a single stream is the one that is holding me up; it breaks up the video into many smaller streams!

No, IDM can't download DRM protected videos.
Well, TubeDigger did the job, but I had to play it in real time while downloading.

They're streaming it only in 540p, so I upscaled it to 1080p.
