I'm lost, need help

I thought this was a Lotta story but it seems not. A girl sets up a "home" in a boat at the end of a dock. Ayoung woman comes across the water and helps the girl make it livable. Eventually the girls parents drop in for a visit. Whatever the dispute is resolved and the girl returns home.

Can one of you please help my tired OLD brain so I can get some sleep.

If possible I would like a very high quality version on a direct download link.

I wish I COULD help but I can only say that it is definitely not Lindgren's Lotta! It does not even ring any bells. Sounds like a plot I might see in a 1960s/1970s Czech or DEFA film.

I think you are going to fall asleep from exhaustion before someone thinks of whatever this is, sorry. But if that doesn't happen, what works for me is a meal heavy with carbohydrates and a cup of hot herbal tea, sitting down in a recliner to watch a movie. I am out within 30 minutes. It makes it hard for me to finish movies.

If someone comes up with the movie, then we can work on a DDL.

P.S.: in one of the Lotta movies, she DOES run away from home and lives for a short time in her old neighbor's two-story garden shed.

GENIUS!!!!!

6-year-old Alberte decides to leave her parents. They are always busy working or watching TV and don't have time to do fun things with her. She decides that her new name is Kurt as she has always wanted to be a boy. She moves to the boat right outside her house and makes it into a nice boat house with the help of a strange lady who suddenly appears. The parents miss Kurt and start having lunch and dinner with her on the pier. They get along better, spend less time in the house - and more time fishing and playing with their daughter. Finally they move in with her, decide to leave their jobs and sell the house. They are going to live on the boat and sail towards sunny shores, escaping the cold of Denmark. Original drama for children.

That HAS to be it!!! Now I have to look to see if I have any version of it, because I KNOW I have at least heard of it.

I can understand relic associating the actress who played Alberte (Kurt) with the actress who played in the 1990's series of 'Lotta' films, as they DO favor.

Mimzy and kev, the old timers with the GOOD memories ...

I used to be like relic, "Do you remember that movie with the girl who went on those adventures doing such and such..." but I could not remember the NAME of whatever the movie or series. Now I can remember the image of one girl or another, but I struggle with the PLOTS in addition to the titles.

Holy crap, kev. Stop lights don't do it for me, but only when I am driving along fairly empty roads with few landmarks. Fortunately this is when I am just cruising along without paying attention because it is a routinely traveled path. I just keep going until I have to make the next turn. THEN I have to decide if I am going to another small town, or back home!
