I'm surprised to see that no one is talking about this series here...
For those familiar with the "Chucky/Child's Play" franchise, the TV show is a direct sequel to the last movie, "Cult of Chucky", and reunites most of the original cast, but also introduces new faces like... Carina Battrick's. Which is why I'm posting a new topic!
She appears in 11 episodes (out of 3 seasons) but gains importance over the seasons, especially in the third. If the series is renewed for a fourth one, it is more than certain that she will become a main character given the twist of season three... The director himself said that he had big plans for her in season 4...
If you are interested in the TV show, I highly recommend you watching the films before starting it... they are classics (just don't watch the 2019 film, it's nothing more than a failed reboot). The Chucky films are one of the few horror franchises that follows a straight continuous continuity. The first episode of the show is mainly standalone, but as it continues, characters, references, and even plot lines from all the films are coming. It would probably be more enjoyable and make more sense if you’re familiar with the movies. They're great, believe me.In this TV series adaptation, titled "Chucky," a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, and an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town's hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies and allies from Chucky's past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll's untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
