In order to be SURE I would have to replicate it, and that would require me to remember what in the heck I downloaded before Tubi broke yt-dlp. Or just randomly try Tubi videos using a Canadian server. But it was huge news for me when Tubi expanded beyond the U.S., because my VPN was almost always set to Canada and thus I did not have to switch anymore.

I bet SOMEONE here at FLM has one of the popdrome files, I just have to wait for them to read this thread and reshare.

Yes! THANK YOU to the members who reshared! This popdrome link is in 1080p Dutch:
https://www.first-loves.com/forums/view ... 704#p80704

Specifications: [Code] I took pillowbaker's Tubi English dubtitles and resynced them for this. The film includes plenty of talking when the face of the speaker is not necessarily visible, so strict lipsync was not always necessary for the dub. Thus the dubtitles do not strictly line up with the Dutch audio at all times.

Regular and SDH English:
100% COCO (2017) [HEVC.aliptes].ENGLISH.zip

As you may have discovered by now, yes, I was able to stream this video along with many others on tubi just fine. Tubi works quite well for me. I have never tried it with a VPN.

I have no idea why I can get the subtitles with Jdownloader 2, however!
Yeah, I was wondering if all those multitudes of filenames that turn up in jd2, if I could find the SRT. That's how I found it, too.

Likewise, I was able to download the video after sorting through the filenames further, but all results came up with no audio, the same as Night's. I could find no file that represented the audio to mux them together. If this continues, I might have to look into something like TubeDigger. First, though, I hope either tubi or yt-dlp get updates so I can comfortably download from them again. :P

THANK YOU Night for syncing the dubtitles as best you could. For anyone reading, what I believe is going on is that the dubtitles are synced to the English dub of the film and not the original audio, so the timings might be slightly skewed in in some parts. Not much you can do about it but to edit every line manually.

I am glad I managed to pick up an entire 5-season (non-FLM) series from Tubi while audio was still available for easy downloading. In that case I used yt-dlp and got the subtitles too, directly from the video URLs in succession.

100% Coco has a Dutch opensubtitle that could probably be accurately synced. A literal machine-translation of that edited with the English dub for contemporary colloquialisms should make a good translated subtitle. However, this is obviously lightweight fluff and I think all that WORK would just ruin the enjoyment. I am satisfied with what I have now!

Yeah, this is a pretty easygoing film. Loving the lighthearted Dutch movies I've come across. The dubtitles should do quite nicely. It seems tubi has pretty decent quality when it comes to subtitles.

Similar to you, I am glad I managed to grab quite a few movies from tubi. FLM-related as well as non. I grabbed them if they seemed interesting enough,, and I downloaded them as soon as I made the decision, including the subs every time. After I look more closely, some might be worth posting.
