ghost, do you suppose they will check the validity of the Hungarian phone number, like it would an email address? I wonder if there's a simple way around this.

I wondered the same, but I have never had any luck using the free fake phone numbers available online, even for something as simple as creating a fake Gmail account. The fact that it is paired with payment information suggests that it would NOT work.

I managed to make an account on filmio. It seems they are allowing some movies to be viewed for free for "Children's day". Those films have their own category line and their movie post thumbnails have a green banner on them with the phrase "Ingyenesen elérheto".

Those give me a proper "playback" button without asking for a paid subscription, but the service "is not available in my territory." Perhaps if your VPN could fool it, it might a step in the right direction.

For anyone having trouble getting filmio to be recognized in your browser as a site in a translatable language, try right-clicking and select "translate to [your language]."

My VPN does not have a Hungarian server. But it is great that there are movies available for free! Surely someone could get items of interest.

Well, I could complete my personal informations (adress and telephone numvber), but they don't accept any of my Hungarian VPNs. Always saying I'm in the wrong country. I don't have a solution yet. I'm sure the next problem would be my credit card, which isn't from Hungary.

It is for free if you cancel the subscription in time, Canadian IP is also for free on Windscribe, you just need a TubeDigger or some paid utility to download the stream... Thx, Jez.

If you want something from the free stuff (until sunday), I can download it maybe but have a slow connection (15/3 mbit/s) so can't upload it until next tuesday (4-5 GB/movie). It's a limited offer because of my slow connection.

Actually, the best place to grab that is on Apple TV. You can even get it in 4K. Just need a Canadian IP address.
