After her brother was killed by a notorious all-female pirate gang, Morag dedicates her life to bringing the murderers to justice. Soon, she has become an important member of the pirate gang and has begun acquiring the loyalty of key members. Eventually, she makes her move and challenges the leader, a demi-god (literally), known as "The Daughter of the Sun."

This unusual pirate revenge fantasy features the mother-daughter duo of lead actress Bernadette Lafont and Élisabeth Lafont, who plays a teenage member of the pirate gang. Some sites list her age as 16 but if this article is accurate filming took place in the summer of 1974:

That means Élisabeth Lafont (DOB Jun. 29, 1960) would've just turned 14. A little surprising given what the role involved (see below). She doesn't appear to have done a lot after this. Mostly bit parts. Shame. :(

This is a hard movie to place. I don't mean the set itself. Filming was done at the Fort-La-Latte Fortress (where a number of epic movies have been filmed) on the Brittany coast of France. But in the fictional setting of the movie you don't know where they are. And the era is unclear too. It's a strange mix of old school pirate garb and weapons with more modern equipment like an early 20th century radio set and a Thompson submachine gun. Sometimes they dress Victorian. Sometimes in clothes that look up to date for the early 70's. It reminded me a little of surreal movies like Valerie and Her Week of Wonders or Égi bárány, strange but interesting.

I didn't see any mid-sized rips, just small and very large ones, so I made an in-between sized rip of my own. It has French audio and English subs. You can choose between that and a 2.90 GB rip that was already on eMule.

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please unrar to your shared folder and seed these for a while. Every source helps.

I'm not going to post it, because of its size (36 GB). But that's the file I made my rip from.

Neither did I, until a few days ago. One of those movies I discovered by navigating multiple links to other suggested content. You may also like ... :D

Here are some torrents from therarbg, if anyone prefers BitTorrent:

Get 'em while they've still got seeders!

Should I assume the first Mega and your 2.9gb are the same. And both soured from bluray? Only the multi mega one says blu-ray in the name.

Deadman's first MEGA link and the 2.9gb eMule link are the same and sourced from eMule. You will just have to guess the original source before that.

What Night said. I posted a link that was already on eMule, I think it's a low bitrate bluray rip but I don't know the original source. The other one is my own rip so yes - that's definitely sourced from bluray.
