Bleak and depressing movie. Not a comedy at all. But some really good actors.

An interesting bit of background:
https://sensitivecontent.info/movie.php?id=4608
The boys and girls appearing in the gym and locker room scenes weren't professional actors but real students at Kvarnbackaskolan in Kista, Stockolm. In the sequence in which Leif Andrée's character is bullied by his pupils, Stig Larsson made it clear that the boys had to hit Andrée as hard as they wanted. "We managed it on the first shot. They hit me and threw the ball in my head. It was really violent. I had a sore ass for several weeks afterwards," Andrée said.
Actual students volunteered for those gymnasium and locker room scenes. So the girls who were changing were just a random group of (presumably 16 and 17 year olds) going to that school, not professional actors.
I bet the boys had more fun beating the gym teacher to a bloody pulp. Wanted to do that myself back in high school. Didn't want to get expelled though. And realistically, the man's body was as big as his ego, I probably would've gotten the beating of my life - but I had a pretty big ego myself back then.
Re: [REL] Kaninmannen (1990) aka The Rabbit Man
I'd love to see that version of the movie. But by 1992 (thanks to groups like the Moral Majority raising a huge stink) such a scene was impossible to film in America.
The girls who were in the locker room scene in Kaninmannen came down to volunteer. I don't know if it was an ad on bulletin boards, an announcement in homeroom that morning, or what. They knew what the scene involved. This is Sweden, not the US. I imagine it wasn't as big a deal.

Not very young actresses, there are a lot of high school films, American Pie or Porkys (maybe I digress but it came to mind) opted to use thirty-somethings, and it's not a bad idea for the American version of The Rabbit Man.
Re: [REL] Kaninmannen (1990) aka The Rabbit Man
Arnold Schwarzenegger should remake "Kindergarten Cop" with the children played by thirtysomethings because today's precious snowflakes can not be exposed to such violence, profanity, and drug use. It would warp their fragile little minds!

Little girls might be more easily impressed than their mothers.
