Well I admit I know so little about Linux that I certainly can not recommend software for it! At least you weren't using Windows to extract, because Windows doing that on its own is terrible. And yeah, missing a part is certainly a problem! I am glad I don't have to give up on MEGA yet because at least the files seem to STAY there. You were making me paranoid, and I don't need any help with THAT.

No it was fine, but my firewall wouldn't let me piece them together because Win RAR is an exe file, it also would lot let me use Mega's desktop app, another exe file, I think Ima just go get another cheap puter. I do have a job which allows for such things lol

I do not use the MEGA desktop app because it exasperated me when I tried it, but I do not download Mega RAR files individually either. I use Jdownloader2 ... but to install it requires running an EXE file. Installing almost ANY software requires running an EXE file! Sorry, but I have to say that I consider any computer that does not allow software installation to be unsuitable for personal use. I would say the same of any computer with such a restrictive firewall. It sounds like your computer is really for WORK ONLY with restrictions placed on it by your employer, and getting your own personal computer is probably the best idea for downloading. I wish you luck!

Yes absolutely. Weird though that it quarantined WinRAR then it actually worked anyway. Love the movie. Is it ever appropriate to post a video that does not have a director, producer? I am thinking of a very very short video I have named "Stupid Little brother". I urgently wish not to run afoul of the rules/mods.

No porn, no spam, be nice to people. Those are the most important rules.

As far as videos featuring children go, we do NOT want random amateur TikTok or home-shot YouTube videos. It certainly does not need to be a major studio production but it does need to be at least a semi-professional "production" with at least a minimal cast & crew even if they are anonymous and not just some proud parent waving their iPhone around to make an unedited video of how cute-annoying their kids are. There are hundreds of thousands of such videos and that would be opening an endless floodgate. The rule of thumb is to have some sort of movie site link with information on the production, such as IMDB (TMDB, rarefilmfinder, allmovie, BFI etc...) But sometimes newer independent productions do not have such documentation and that does not make them ineligible.

Use your judgment and if you stretch the guidelines a bit too far then don't get upset if the response is "No more crap like this please".

Their 1080p file looks definitely better than the 720p version we had before, which had a lot of compression artefacts.

But again the colors were very pale.
