Stephanie is dependent on her parents, like every child. However, she cannot rely on them to do and know what is good for her. At some point she flees into an abysmal world of gloomy desires, that belongs to her alone.

Yes, thanks for another great release, nota-bene.

Unfortunately, ghost, I can probably tell you why. Like me, you might have found it VERY slow moving, meandering, as well as somewhat pretentious; hoping to have a much deeper meaning than what it's abrupt ending leaves you with.

I'm glad to have seen this [oddly enough, I kind of like these somber offerings], but it is NOT one that I would heartily recommend to others or rush to watch again any time soon. I saw this a couple of weeks ago and if I remember right the younger version of the main character, Stephanie, holds the screen for about 30 - 45 mins.

Umm...

Perhaps I was trying to help interpret for some of our members that aren't as savvy with the English language. (While probably confusing the issue more with words like meandering and pretentious [you know; auteur-ish]. )
