Likewise, I also appreciate the heads up about the movie. There does seem to be some deception apparent in that poster. I vaguely remember watching the trailer and getting the impression that the movie was more of a serious drama. Didn't realize the little one and the teen had so little screentime, though.
I myself do not mind more difficult dramas with characters I would myself avoid, but believe that I am getting into something else would likely put me off just a bit, too. Regardless, I enjoy reading your movie reviews and will continue to do so.

I was just going by kev's descriptive post and I could immediately relate! Like pillowbaker I appreciate the warning but will not necessarily write this one off yet. It is just possible I might find something of value in it. Despite my protestations, there are actually some movies that "wallow in misery" but that I think are good and interesting. I have not figured out what the difference is for those ones.

If others have read my posts on other movies I've expounded on; ESPECIALLY the films I've gushed embarr-ass-ingly about [geeze , I'm so friggin' juvenile], then they can probably get an idea of movies I like. This wasn't one of them.

Exactamundo! I have gone off on a few rants myself when I have some strong opinions. I do not expect a single person to agree with them or be convinced. They have just as much right to a contrary opinion. I would really REALLY hate it if everyone liked the exact same movies. Nighty-night, kev...MY personal opinion that one might or might not be able to relate to.
