You're certainly right, marvingray! That outfit is cute, I agree without a doubt.

I recall The Brady Bunch coming on as reruns when nothing else was on, yet back even then, I never gave it a chance. Future reflections and iterations of the show seemed to portray the girls (or at least one of them) as ditsy in a comedic way. Not sure if that was fair or not, now that I think of it. My mom used to enjoy this show, I know.

This show would often come on in early afternoon weekdays when I would normally not be watching television, and frequently came on with other older classics (like I Dream of Jeannie) during the later evenings, after other show I did try to watch (like The Secret World of Alex Mack and The Adventures of Pete and Pete and Salute Your Shorts). I don't recall ever sitting through it then, either. Perhaps once of these days, I'll select a few episodes to relax to.

Y'know even as a kid I really loved Nick at Nite, I guess like you said I'd watch stuff just because it came on after other stuff I watched. The ones I watched the most were probably...I Love Lucy/The Lucy Show, Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, Mork and Mindy, and Get Smart. No clue what made those old shows resonate with me.

But anyway, The Brady Bunch def qualifies although it is obviously mostly a sitcom, it's very, very lighthearted. Which is why the 90s reboot?parody? films basically said "What if the Brady Bunch existed in the real world of the 90s?" Speaking of that movie, they really scored getting Christine Taylor as Marcia. She was born to play that role. I did watch those movies as a kid, but I remember very little apart from them being kind of odd and maybe some light incest occuring in one of them?
