This is a movie I've kept in rotation on my thumb drive for awhile. I like having something playing when I'm going to sleep and in the past couple of years it's become movies ive enjoyed, so when I say I've watched this a dozen times I dont mean from start to finish but I've def seen it more than a few.

I find it a really engaging parody of modern social media and family vloggers and their obsession with making everything in their lives appear clean and perfect. Honestly, the movie is thematically horror but in tone it is much closer to dark comedy, in my opinion.

The main character is one I feel the most bad for than any film in recent memory. She spends the whole movie trying to do the right thing, even intentionally injuring her hand to stop her doppelganger from hurting someone. All the while, while being neglected and tormented by everyone around her.

I get the idea is something like the Cuckoo bird that leaves eggs in other birds nests and then kills its nest mates so the mother will devote all their attention to it. If that is true it gives a good idea on the implications of the ending.

Overall, I'd give the movie a B+ for its humor, directing, interesting themes and performance, and of course the practical fx(at least they look that way to me.)
