I see why you put a question in the quoted synopsis, and I think I figured out the problem.
Spanish "hermano" = "brother" OR "sibling".
Spanish "hermana" = "sister".
In this case I guess the IMDB synopsis is machine-translated from Spanish, and it should have been translated as "two siblings" instead of "two brothers". Pronoun trouble in machine translation I am used to.

It would be a translation error wherever it comes from, here we say 'hermanos' 2 boys or boy and girl, the appropriate thing would be 'a boy and his sister'- 'Ana and her brother'.
