Synopsis :

Spoiler: A strict father (secretly killer of little girls) imposes impossible guidelines on his disabled wild and cruel 13-year-old daughter which reflect his secret, tortured life.

If the actors are overage, then whether a movie is On Topic for FLM is a judgment call based on a few factors. This includes the age of the character and whether the actress is believable playing that age. Eventually an actor becomes old enough that the believability FAILS despite what age the screenwriter has chosen.

I really can not judge this particular movie, so I am happy to leave it to others.

If you want a guaranteed On Topic movie, then stick with 16-or-under characters played by 16-or-under actresses. That is the longtime preference of this site anyway. Anything else is a judgment call, and I don't think it is worth getting aggravated about someone else's judgment! Personally, I am not really interested in checking IDs and birth certificates but that may just be me.

Most of the posts in that thread discuss the age of the actress and whether or not it is On Topic precisely because of that issue. We do not need to re-evaluate every single old thread. Time is better spent watching movies of personal interest rather than converting this site into some sort of encyclopedia.

I would have liked this movie not to be Off - Topic, at least if she had the minimum age and it won't be the only case, Paraadise is a great movie and Phoebe Cates showing off her beautiful body but no, another story would be if they took years off her age.
