[REL] Danse avec la vie (1995 TV Movie)

This is a really surprising TV movie with a young performer (Véronique Tamaccio whose only appearance on screen) who is really a ballet dancer and it shows. Filmed it seems in Bordeaux, the famous Patrick Dupond plays a dance teacher. A rarity whose subject is anorexia nervosa but it will take a miracle to find a better source, even Imdb does not display any photos. Youtube has the same source as my link.

Synopsis :

Spoiler: Philippe, a businessman, and his wife Christine are a couple who apparently associate the image of happiness and success. A former dancer at the Paris Opera, Christine now takes care of her daughter, Vanessa, 11 years old. The little girl is not quite a child like the others : she is an exceptionally gifted dancer, who combines great physical abilities with an iron will. Vanessa is also the only reason for her mother's living, for whom the marriage has been nothing but a succession of failures. With the help of star dancer Franck Veaujour, Vanessa is preparing for the Paris Ballet School competition. The little dancer trains like a madwoman and, wanting to feel lighter, gradually stops eating. She dances until she is exhausted, so as not to disappoint her parents, to please her teacher, to forget her deep misery...
