[REL] Bilitis (1977)
Re: [REL] Bilitis (1977)
I have seen YTS 4K files that are even SMALLER. I happen to agree that 4K should have a larger file size because even HEVC does not compress effectively enough to get actual 4K quality in such a small container. I think 4GB is a reasonable size for 1080p, and that is probably what this will look like. But I know that I have no obligation to download anything and neither does anyone else, and that people provide links only to help members who may be interested. So... thank you Dave! Don't worry if not everyone is so enthusiastic. 7 Likes is proof enough that some folks are interested, and you can't please everyone.

There are no seeders, so I can't download it.DaveTheBoss wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 12:42 pmYou're never happy. Often when I read you, I never know if your comments are positive or sarcastic...
The proof, you disturb people who don't know what to think...

Mexlink, please note that Dave did not put the ed2k link in his post because Dave does not eMule -- it was added later by an admin. Perhaps that admin is just not online right now, so it is just the same as any other emule link with only one Seeder. Or you might be downloading another file from that one Seeder: you can only get one file at a time from the same Seeder.
Dave provided the fichier link and it still works. Try it. I will put the file in my eMule folder when I have it downloaded.
EDIT, LATER: I am now sharing the 4K file in eMule.

Re: [REL] Bilitis (1977)
I recommend to download from 1fichier as long as the file is available there, because it is much faster and it saves eMule resources for other files. For downloading, you can try the "plowshare" command-line tool in Linux (included in many Linux distributions) or 1fichier-dl (Linux/Mac/Windows, GUI) from github or just use the generic JDownloader2.
ed2k links were added automatically for reference and not by Dave. Those will be useful when 1fichier links expire. In fact, 19 out of 429 1fichier links posted by Dave are already expired and no longer available.

I know what you mean, she caught my eye too! I wasn't able to figure out who she is though. Some of David Hamilton's regulars you can readily put names to - or at least a name. Some (like Monica Broeke) appear to be aliases.
The girl in green is probably just a regular girl who happened to have caught Hamilton's eye just like he caught mine. Looks to have been about 13. Likely took dance. At the time, late 70's, David Hamilton was much in demand. Mothers wanted him to photograph their daughters and he was never short on subjects. Talk about a job with great benefits!

Don’t take my gripes with filesize and video quality too seriousDaveTheBoss wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 12:42 pmYou're never happy. Often when I read you, I never know if your comments are positive or sarcastic...
I know that many people online simply pick the next best release they can get their hands on. There was a time, a couple years ago, when I also still often couldnt find many uploads/releases I was looking for online (at all). But these days, I don’t accept (for myself) a 720p release when I know the film exists in 1080p (or even 4K: some forums specialize in making high quality 1080p encodes out of 4K UHD discs because the 1080p will look even better than from the regular BluRay).
Don’t feel discouraged by me when it comes to posting filehosts links on the forum here

I read a little bit about that error. It seems it has to do with your internet connection and the sites you visit. The fichier link still works from what I see.
Have you downloaded from other fichier links? There is a quota on how many you can download. Do not try to download any more fichier links for ONE DAY. After one day and restarting your computer and browser, try that fichier link again. Hopefully it should work then.
ALSO: Free fichier links give a one minute countdown before you can use them. Wait until the countdown ends, and then try it.
