Downloading from certain video sites.

Not sure if this is the place to ask but how can I download videos from dailymotion? I have tried quite a few video downloaders that can download videos from YouTube and a couple of other sites but will not work for dailymotion. Cannot even copy a link.
There is video I want to get which has subtitles and then I can post it on here.
I have the video on my computer but it does not have subtitles and an online search does not bring any results

Not too sure. but i did used to download videos from VK on my phone using a VK video Downloader app

Jdownloader did download from dailymotion if I remember correctly and from vk and ok.ru as well

Ferdi gave the answer I was prepared to give! Jdownloader2 works for me and it is free.

If you are comfortable using Command line software, Dailymotion videos can also download with yt-dlp.
