Re: [REL] Las Que Empiezan A Los 15 Años (1978)

I know that my wondering "Did I remember to?" is just my OCD talking, but knowing that does not stop it. I have been a quarter mile down the road, then turned around to drive back to the house to see if I remembered to press the button on the garage door remote to close it. Of course I had remembered, but that nagging thought HAD to be stopped. If I had foregone that device of convenience and been forced to get out of the car and close the garage door by hand, I surely would have remembered.

Fortunately I only iron clothes about once a year, and not when I am in a rush ready to leave. I hate ironing.

The power fluctuations in my house are due to my country's crumbling infrastructure and public utilities being unwilling to spend money on ancient equipment replacement until it actually fails. But don't get me started on a rant! :cussing

I'm the same way, sometimes it's better to go home and double-check, so it won't be a disaster if there's any doubt ;)

I had this, just a little more and a fire would have started, the whole room was already in smoke
I have old wiring and haven't changed it

!!!!!! If you have already experienced a room full of smoke, then obviously you are not just imagining things. Me, I am simply paranoid when I worry about something.

No, everything is normal, there is no panic, - about fire and smoke, (just as I leave I try to check everything),like some people are afraid of heights, depths, snakes, I have a friend after the accident, no longer sat behind the wheel - he was shaking all over, panic, so he sold the car, walks on foot or rides a bicycle, if you need to go far.

It is the wiring that has not been fixed that concerns me! That is like driving a car with the brakes needing repair. I DID have a vehicle where the brake line broke and all the fluid poured out. NOT fun trying to stop the vehicle then. (No accident, THAT time. I still drive.)

The thing is that all the old electrical - wiring is recessed into the wall, and if you change it, you have wall chisel all the walls and make repairs to the whole house

I had a case in another , the brake pads wore out and when braking the car was going, I almost glued myself into another car

Electricians can pull new wiring through the space behind the wall from outlet to outlet, also removing the old wiring as long as it is not cemented into place. I don't think I would be very good at doing it, but normally it is not necessary to smash the wall! Maybe your house is different. It is easier to wire the house before it is fully built, but not required. (And yes, I realize that qualified electricians can be expensive. I try to avoid having to hire them, and only do so when I admit that something is beyond what I trust myself to do.) I agree that replacing drywall is no fun because damn those sheets are tiresome to move around.

Yeah, when I'm done with my nonsense I really need to figure out just the TITLE for a new thread to move it all to! Sorry about that. Maybe later today to get it back on topic.

Let's end this dialog, because the admin is right, the topic is about the movie, not about life's problems and affairs :D
