Dora, 14, will spend her vacation with her grandmother for the first time. Maria, 70, lives in an old and beautiful house in the Historic Center of Salvador.
Throughout the events of the story, Dora will come to learn that her stay in Bahia will be permanent. She will not return to Germany (where she lives with her mother) not even to say goodbye to her friends. Dora will resist to adapt in the new city, but gradually she’ll meet and become interested not only in the local culture, but in her own family’s history. Dora will learn to admire her grandmother that was before a stranger to her. Maria was a pioner of cinema in Bahia. She was an artist and she struggled because that.

I think you are right that IMDB is wrong about the runtime. Other movie sites give 82 minutes and even 84 minutes as the runtime, although a few of them delay the official release date to 2020. IMDB went with a film festival date.

Yes, in this movie, what I liked is the actress cute in the lead role, and so the plot is bonalen, I like more with intrigue
Mostly, cut out part on those movies or moments in movies that are broadcast on TV
