Based on eyewitness accounts, this hybrid film tells the story of Tania, a teenager forced into prostitution in the gold-mining region of Peru. Tania recalls her abduction after being promised work, and the gradual loss of her identity. The camera takes us from the jungle to the bars where she was exploited. The feverish rush for gold, combined with the destruction of the environment, makes the film sound like an allegory of life sacrificed on the altar of capitalism.

I moved the thread to Documentaries because IMDB calls the movie that, although it looks more like a drama to me. You did warn that it is a "hybrid film" Alex, so I am not complaining! Whoever watches it first feel free to give your opinion. I am perfectly willing to move it back out as a feature film thread. I think you probably had it categorized correctly Alex, I just HATE to say that IMDB is wrong.

I have not looked into whether nuestrocine.mx geoblocks its Norteamericano neighbors or if I could access the videos just by signing up, so I do not know what exact quality / audio / subtitle options they have for this. (It claims HD French, whether audio or subtitles I don't know.) I figured if ghost was defeated by the recent nuestrocine videos then I should not even TRY, despite our being on different continents as far as geoblocking goes. However, it IS streaming on Tubi in 720p with NOT-synced optional English subtitles. Tubi is georestricted to... North America, as fas as I know.

Thank you very much Night457 for this movie, for helping me download it and for the subtitles, I didn't know if it was a documentary or a fiction movie, I was just interested in the plot, the search didn't give me anything, for my region it is not available, sometimes VPN helps to cope with the blocking and sometimes not, I'm looking forward to downloading it and watching it.
