Hey, thanks for the age info. Where did you find her birthday? I did not look beyond IMDB, although I figured she was likely a little older than 16 if only because of modern squeamishness (even in Europe) about children and nudity. Though mild, it was deliberately provocative nudity at that (flashed breasts) and not just an innocent skinnydip. Her photographed images in the film were absurdly referred to by the characters as "child porn" (they were not, although moral crusaders have a hard time making that distinction), so the makers of THIS film just might have chosen an 18-year-old so they would be safe from that accusation being made against them.

Spoiler: if nude photos of a girl got on the Internet, no matter how much you change schools, , all the same everyone will know, such cases are typical, how many of them, many commit suicide, thank God, the end is normal, they did not jump from the roof.

Yep. There are birthday posts March 20th every year on her Instagram. Her DOB is also on other social media like Facebook, as well as Wikipedia and sites like famousbirthdays.com. She makes no particular secret of her age. Not sure why IMDb doesn't list it. I also looked for photos on her Instagram account that might show her on the set of Sex Ding. The date of the post would tell us roughly when they were filming. But Susan has only a few of those kinds of pictures, from her most high profile projects, the majority is personal stuff.

I find it unlikely they could assemble a final print of a short that's nearly half the length of a full feature in only 8 weeks. Big studios would tackle such a challenge by assigning multiple production teams and dividing the film into segments with each team responsible for one. The director floats between the groups coordinating their work and the results are combined into the final cut. That's not the ideal way to make a movie, rushed parallel production, but it can be done. Indie studios don't generally have the option of just throwing bodies at the problem though. They're on a tighter budget. That's why I'm almost positive they filmed in 2016 and would've had it in the can and ready to go for the April early entry deadline the following year. You get first dibs on exhibition times applying early, instead of whatever's left when you apply late - assuming they haven't booked solid and then you're SOL (the late deadline should never be your goal).

Susan was a model and an athlete from an early age. She doesn't post many provocative images, though there are a few and she's clearly not shy about showing off. A 17 year old in a brief topless scene wouldn't get the producers in any trouble. 16 is the age of consent in the Netherlands.

But they can not "do porn" until 18 (the law was changed in the Netherlands early in the 21s century), and I have given up expecting rationality from people looking to ban movies or protest filmmakers, even in supposedly enlightened countries. And although I was mainly thinking about the character in the movie rather than the actress, a girl or adult woman flashing her tits at an angry mob is absolutely a provocation anywhere. I was on HER side of course, because they were idiots and thugs. Just like when I was in highschool!

I do not care that this short is in VOT, it is available if people want it. Ghost was generous enough to take the time to download and post a movie that I KNEW he would NOT be interested in, and for that I am grateful. (Seriously, thank you ghost.) I don't need to quibble about how a film is categorized. It can stay exactly where it is.

But as you noted previously, she DID care about their opinions to a dangerous extent. Her friend Shaira eventually developed a more healthy "Fuck you!" attitude but it helped that she (Shaira) was not the one being attacked. She just wanted to defend her friend. Vita acted out in public out of desperation.
